How do you remove a newspaper-ad stain from a kitchen cabinet?

Oyarsa asked:

I had one of those ads that come tucked inside a newspaper in my kitchen cabinet; unfortunately, it apparently became wet and went I went to clean it out today, it stuck to the cabinet (briefly) and left an unsightly newspaper-ad stain.

Please help!
Edit: I have used soapy water. I have used vinegar. Still there.
I have tried baking soda and vinegar.

Non abrasive cleaner or as always warm soapy water.

Try rubbing alcohol, it removes dye stains from laboratory benches very easily.

Try WD-40. It takes off sticky stuff and paper and the print from papers. Just spray it on and wipe it off…
