It depends on the height of the drawers and if the supporting runners are top or bottom if on bottom then in the middle if on top toward the top to relieve pressure on the runner when opening.</description>

Dead center is the way to go.  Mounting handles anywhere else could affect the tracking on the drawer.</description>
